Price Increase for DONUTS TLDs
October 1, 2019

 

Donuts will be increasing pricing on standard domains for over 200 TLDs in their portfolio on October 1, 2019. Customers that have existing registrations should consider renewing their domains prior to the increase. You can now view the complete pricing details under the Price Change Notification notice on the main dashboard of your HEXONET control panel.

.BUZZ Premium Tier Update
October 1, 2019

 

The .BUZZ registry is moving all available (unregistered) premium domains in Premium Tier H to Premium Tier G on October 1, 2019. All .BUZZ premium domains previously registered in Premium Tier H will remain in Premium Tier H, therefore not affecting their future renewal pricing.

GRS Domains Premium Domain Update
October 1, 2019

 

GRS Domains is updating their list of premium domains for all of their TLDs: .ACCOUNTANT, .BID, .CRICKET, .DATE, .DOWNLOAD, .FAITH, .LOAN, .MEN, .PARTY,. RACING, .REVIEW, .SCIENCE, .STREAM, .TRADE, .WEBCAM and .WIN. Due to the size of the data, the lists will take the registry approximately 2 days per TLD to process starting alphabetically from October 1, 2019. GRS's premium domains will continue to renew at standard pricing. They have also made some updates to their premium pricing tiers. Premium tiers F and G will be replaced with lower pricing tiers called Tier F2 and G2. You can access complete pricing details in your HEXONET control panel.

.EU Change in Eligibility Requirements
October 19, 2019

 

Starting on October 19, 2019, EURid will allow all EU citizens to register a .EU domain name regardless of residency. However, there will be a special measure in place if the UK leaves with no deal on November 1, 2019. More information is available here.

 

Price Decrease for .LOVE Premium Domains
October 29, 2019

 

The .LOVE Registry recently announced an upcoming reduction to their premium name pricing for more than 12,000 of its premium domains.

Here are the key details on what’s changing:

Price Increase for .BIZ Domains
November 1, 2019

 

Neustar is increasing the price for .BIZ domains effective November 1, 2019. This price increase will apply to existing domains, new registrations, renewals and transfers from the effective date.

Customers that have existing .BIZ registrations should consider renewing prior to this increase.

Donuts Premium Pricing Event
November 5, 2019

 

On November 5, 2019, Donuts will reduce pricing for over 1 million previously unsold premium domain names - its largest premium price reduction event ever! Approximately 250,000 Donuts premium domains will drop in price and more than 840,000 premium domains will be moved to standard pricing. Customers can view the domain inventory by clicking here.

Launch Information

September 5 (17:00 UTC): customers can register premium domains at the current price but renew at the cheaper price point.

November 1 (17:00 UTC) to November 5 (17:00 UTC): during the so-called quiet phase, impacted premium domains will be reserved and unavailable for purchase.

November 5 (17:00 UTC): all impacted domains will be released for registration.
