Update to Deletion Timeframe for .SO
Please note that the SONIC registry has reduced the deletion timeframe for the .SO TLD from 44 days down to 4 days. The new time-frame will be in effect as of January 1st 2020.

.COM.BR New TLD
With Brazil being the largest country in South America, and the fifth-largest country in terms of population and size, it doesn't come as a surprise that .BR is consistently in the top 10 largest ccTLDs (currently in position #8). .COM.BR is the most commonly used TLD under the .BR portfolio.
Mainly dedicated to companies and commercial activities, .COM.BR is restricted to local citizens and legal entities that are registered in Brazil. As it is not possible to register directly under .BR, .COM.BR is most commonly used in Brazil.

TWNIC is Unbundling and Releasing .台灣
TWNIC currently offers the .台灣 domain name only when a matching Chinese-IDN.TW domain is registered. However, starting on January 7, 2020, customers can register a .台灣 domain name without this restriction.
The TLD will launch as follows:
For non-ASCII .台灣 domains
General availability opens on January 7, 2020
For ASCII .台灣 domains
Existing ASCII .TW domain holders will have priority over their matching .台灣 domains and can register them starting on January 7, 2020 until February 10, 2020. This phase is only available to registrants with ASCII .TW domains that were registered before February 10, 2020.
