Comodo Becomes Sectigo

In late 2017, Comodo's CA was acquired by Francisco Partners. As a result of the takeover, a rebrand was completed and they changed the company name to Sectigo! Please note:

• This rebrand will not affect your existing SSL certificates and Comodo Authority roots will remain trusted.
• This rebrand will not impact your existing API integration as the legacy Comodo product names will be backward compatible
• References to Comodo on our website and CP will be removed and replaced with Sectigo. The product names for their SSL certificates will also be updated.

.AU Domains: New Implementation of
1 Year Registration/Renewal Period
February 1, 2019

Effective February 1, 2019, we will be changing the registration / renewal period for .AU domains from minimum 2 years to 1 year. Domains can be registered or renewed for up to 5 year terms. Please note that when processing an owner change, only a 1 year period will be granted upon a successful trade. Domain transfers are not subject to these changes, a transfer of a .AU domain will not invoke a renewal.
