Last month, we announced a change of terms for .DK domains. Due to technical issues at the DK Hostmaster registry, the change to the terms and conditions has been postponed. Please refer to the DK Hostmaster notification for more information.

.IE Updates their API
November 16, 2020
|
|
|
On November 16, 2020, IE Domain Registry has replaced their existing API and Console with TITAN - a new platform for registry and domain management. Some things will remain unchanged, for example:- All registrants applying for .IE domains will need to show that they meet the .IE registration requirements for connection to Ireland and there will be no changes to the accepted types of evidence.
- Company application for a new domain will require a CRO (Company Registration Office) number.
- Domain applications will continue to have a maximum lifetime of 27 days and will have a Pending Create status at this time
Summary of changes with the new system and the .IE domain name life cycle:- New registration requests from existing .IE registrants will be added to the .IE zone immediately after application without the need for manual approval because the registrant will already have shown their compliance with the .IE registration requirements
- For Company applications, there will be an automatic validation of their CRO number with the Company Registration
Office database.
- There will be a maximum registration and renewal term introduced of 10 years.
- Domains will automatically renew for 1 year on expiry date with the registry unless renewed before. We will charge the renewal at the end of the renewal grace period.
- There will be an AutoRenew Grace Period of 45 days.
- Domains will enter a 30-days Redemption Period if a delete request is submitted or AutoRenew fails for 45 days; during this time domains do not resolve.
- If domains
are not restored during the Redemption Period, they will be permanently deleted (released available) after 5 days, so 35 days after deletion request submitted or 80 days after expiry date, if auto-renewal fails.

Radix Updates to Premium Domain List

Radix will be updating its premium lists for all TLDs on February 3rd, 2021 at 16:00 UTC. Domains will be added to the premium list or moved across premium tiers. The affected TLDs are .ONLINE, .SITE, .SPACE, .STORE, .TECH, .WEBSITE, .FUN, .UNO, .HOST, and .PRESS.
In addition, Radix will also be adding two additional tiers to their existing premium name tiers. These premium list changes and tier additions will not affect any existing premium registrations. Price Increase for .FANS Premium Domains

The renewal and transfer fees for .FANS premium domains will be changed from the standard price to the initial registration fee at which the Premium Domain Name was registered. The premium name list and registration fee of premium domains will also be adjusted. These updates will go into effect at March 18, 2021, at 16:00 UTC.
Please note that any registered premium domains before March 18, 2021 at 16:00 UTC will be moved into a new tier and the renewal/transfer fee of these domains will remain at the standard price. A full list of all premium domain names and their respective tiers will be coming out in February 2021.
