.NAME IDNs Now Available
On Saturday, November 7th, 2009, VeriSign, the official registry operator for .NAME introduced Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) for the TLD. As of this newsletter, .NAME IDNs can be registered via the Control Panel or API. Acceptable IDN characters for .NAME IDNs are the same as those available for .COM and .NET.

.SE Multiyear Registrations
As of December 7th, 2009, IIS (The Internet Infrastructure Foundation) will enable multiyear registrations for .SE Domains. Registrations for .SE domains can now be from 1 - 10 years in length.
