Donuts - 2.0 Million Domains and the New Bestname.business Awards

Donuts, the largest registry for new gTLDs, has surpassed two million domain registrations!  “This is a strong indicator of the growth of new Internet identities,” said Donuts CEO and co-founder Paul Stahura.  “Since we launched our first domain names just over two years ago, we’ve seen steady growth across the board not only in our ‘not-com’ extensions, but in all new domains. We’re now approaching 12 million total registrations in new gTLDs, which means more and more businesses, individuals and organizations are adopting these relevant and specific domain names.”

In conjunction with reaching the milestone, Donuts also launched the Bestname.business Awards.  The winner of the $5,000 advertising award goes to one of eight small-businesses/start-ups who successfully leverage a Donuts' new gTLDs for their domain name.  Take a look at how these businesses are leveraging the new gTLDs and cast a vote for your favorite (until February 28, 2016).
