.GAY TLD Registration Dates
.GAY is a new TLD that will be released in three phases: Sunrise 2, Early Access Program (EAP), and General Availability.
Sunrise 2: On now - September 4, 2020 14:59 UTC
The Sunrise 2 period will continue until September 4th. During this period, .GAY domain name applications are open to trademark holders registered in an official national or international trademark registry. To register a .GAY domain name during the Sunrise 2 phase, please email your application to [email protected].
Please note that there will be a quiet time between the Sunrise 2 phase and the EAP.
Early Access Program: September 8, 2020 15:00 UTC - September 15, 2020 14:59 UTC
The EAP provides the opportunity for resellers, companies, and individuals to register premium .GAY domain names by Dutch auction. This style of auction assigns a high asking price for a domain name and is then lowered each consecutive day until it is sold. Unsold domain names move to General Availability. Purchasing a domain name during EAP is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Place a Preorder for .GAY Domain Names
Looking to purchase a .GAY domain name during the EAP or General Availability? You can submit a preorder through our API or Control Panel right now. Once your preorder is placed, we reserve a place for you in the queue for your order. The instant the registration phase opens, we’ll try and secure the domain.
Placing a preorder is free. Payment only occurs after successful registration of the domain name. Make sure to place your reregistration early as they are on a first-come, first served basis.
You can also submit a live registration request during the EAP or General Availability periods if the domain name is available.
General Availability: September 16th, 2020 15:00 UTC
Following the EAP, all .GAY domain names will become available to the public. You can search for .GAY TLDs using our domain name search tool. Hexonet also offers customers access to hundreds of TLDs so you can find exactly what you’re looking for.
