Launched on October 15th, 2018, read below to learn how you can switch your domains to HEXONET's new Premium DNS solution.

Premium DNS Plans and Pricing

All plans include:

• Around-the-clock monitoring of DNS traffic
• Analytics dashboard showing valuable insights on your DNS traffic
• DNSSEC feature for any domains

Each plan differs by the maximum number of monthly queries the DNS zone can make. The following is the price plan for Premium DNS:

Basic DNS vs Premium DNS

HEXONET will continue to offer a free DNS service for all domains registered with HEXONET. Basic DNS provides standard features to create and manage your DNS zones. It will not include features offered by Premium DNS such as DNS traffic monitoring, analytics dashboard and DNSSEC capability. Also, SLA is not applicable for Basic DNS.

Basic DNS is available only for domains that are registered with HEXONET. However, Basic DNS is not available for subdomains even if the domain is registered with HEXONET.

Starting on October 15th, 2018, DNS zones must be created with either Basic DNS or Premium DNS only.

Legacy DNS Zones

DNS zones that were created before October 15th, 2018, are considered Legacy DNS zones and will be eligible for one of the following retention plans:

Internal DNS zone: your DNS zones will continue to be supported under the same terms and conditions that were agreed upon at its creation until October 15th, 2019. You can upgrade to Premium DNS via the Control Panel at any time during this 1-year period. Any Legacy DNS zones that are not upgraded to Premium DNS by October 15th, 2019 will be automatically (and without charge) converted to DNS zones under the new and free Basic DNS terms and conditions.

External DNS zone: your DNS zone will continue to be supported under the same terms and conditions that were agreed upon at its creation until October 15th, 2019, including the monthly service fees. You can upgrade to Premium DNS via the Control Panel at any time during this 1-year period. Any Legacy DNS zones that were not upgraded to Premium DNS by October 15th, 2019 will be automatically deleted as only Premium DNS allows for DNS zones with domain names registered at other registrars.

Note, once you've upgraded your Legacy DNS zone to Premium DNS, the retention plan will no longer be applicable for the DNS zone and you cannot revert back to Legacy DNS.

You can find your Legacy DNS zones under DNS Service > Legacy DNS Zones in the Control Panel.
